Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – 28 Feb 2024

Tapetco proudly announces its successful achievement of all three ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) standards: ISCC EU, ISCC Corsia, and ISCC Plus. This accomplishment signifies Tapetco’s commitment to environmental responsibility and positions them as the first company in Vietnam’s aviation industry to meet the stringent requirements for supplying Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to airlines.

ISCC certifications are independent, multi-stakeholder initiatives that ensure the sustainability and traceability of biofuels throughout their entire supply chain. Achieving these rigorous certifications demonstrates Tapetco’s adherence to strict environmental and social criteria, guaranteeing the sustainable production and responsible sourcing of SAF.

By meeting these stringent ISCC requirements, Tapetco is now fully equipped to offer airlines access to SAF, a cleaner alternative to conventional jet fuel that significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions. This paves the way for a more sustainable future for the aviation industry in Vietnam and aligns with Tapetco’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship.

Tapetco has been diligently preparing to start providing SAF to airlines in 2024. This signifies their commitment to not only achieving the certifications but also to actively implementing sustainable practices within the aviation industry.

The certificates could also be found on the ISCC Website (Search keyword: Tan Son Nhat Petrol Commercial Joint Stock Company).
